Our team had the honor of taking part in the first edition of Tour de Tripoint – a unique cycling event organized on the initiative of the European Parliament, connecting Poland, Czechia, and Germany. The event was not a race; it was open to participants of all skill levels, emphasizing its inclusive and recreational spirit. The main goal of Tour de Tripoint was not only to encourage physical activity but also to bring people together through a shared journey and the exploration of the tri-border region. It was a chance to experience the natural beauty and cultural richness of three neighboring countries — without the pressure of competition.

For us, as the film crew, the key objective was to capture the atmosphere and essence of the entire event. Several weeks before the ride, we set out along the route to get familiar with it and to produce promotional materials for the organizers. This allowed participants to preview some of the most scenic locations awaiting them during the event — helping to inspire and encourage more people to join. The resulting videos were later used for social media campaigns and promotional content.

During Tour de Tripoint itself, we followed every stage of the event. We filmed not only the pre-ride preparations — conversations, emotions, and excitement before the start — but also the moment the cyclists took off on their journey. From then on, our work picked up speed as we followed the riders by car, stopping at key points along the route to capture the best moments. We filmed in picturesque spots and checkpoints, documenting both the landscapes and the changing emotions of the participants as the ride unfolded.

The final outcome of our work was a series of three films of varying lengths, each telling the story of Tour de Tripoint in a different format — from a short dynamic recap to a more immersive narrative film capturing the spirit of the event.
