As part of our collaboration with the Association for Critical Education at the circus camp in Wolimierz, we created a film about childhood. The aim was to capture those unique, fleeting moments — the emotions, feelings, warmth, and energy of the “wild children” featured in the film. The Association for Critical Education is a non-governmental organization focused on scientific and social activities in the field of community development and education for groups at risk of exclusion, including women’s empowerment initiatives and educational, charitable, and developmental programs for children and youth. Interculturality, education, support, and community are the core values most closely associated with the Association.

We also conducted a photo session for the members of the Association, aiming to capture them in a natural, informal environment that highlights their personalities and individuality. We chose a natural photography style that reflects the real character of the participants and the environment in which the organization operates. The focus was on simplicity and authenticity, avoiding excessive retouching or artificial setups.

The location and atmosphere fostered a friendly and open environment, allowing us to achieve natural, positive images.

As part of our collaboration with the Stowarzyszenie Edukacji Krytycznej, we co-created a film titled “Axis Mundi, czyli moje dolnośląskie centrum świata” (Axis Mundi, My Lower Silesian Center of the World). This project highlights the natural beauty of Lower Silesia and shows how the association spends time with children in this unique environment. Our work included filming additional footage, including drone shots, and editing the film using archival materials provided by the association. The resulting film combines documentary honesty with vibrant, warm storytelling that captures the joy of children discovering their own “axis mundi” in the landscape of Lower Silesia.

During the annual circus camp in Wolimierz in 2024, we produced a unique film documenting a forest performance, where children and young artists improvised, presenting dance, acrobatic figures, and other forms of creative expression. The film captured the extraordinary energy and spontaneity of the participants, creating a sense of closeness to nature and artistic freedom.

In spring 2025, we also completed a photography project with children from Głuszyca, resulting in a monumental photographic mural titled “Reach Where the Eye Cannot See”. The mural was installed at a local school, and the mayor attended the opening ceremony, emphasizing the project’s local significance and its role in fostering social bonds and promoting creativity among youth.
